Every graduate student must pay their activities fee themselves, it is mandatory. No department is paying for your activity fee directly, some are including it in your paycheck.

The Spring activities fee is due  May 1, 2007.  If you preregistered, it was due April 1st. You should pay your activities fee as quickly as possible.

Students who do not pay their fee will have a hold placed on their records *and registration*.  The easiest way to pay the fee is through quickpay on Caesar.  For other alternatives, contact the "office of student accounts."

Instructions for paying fee through caesar:

1.) Get your routing number and checking account number ready first.
Your routing number is on the bottom left of your checks

2.) Go to: http://www.northwestern.edu/caesar/

3.) Log in and navigate through the menu on the left hand side:
For Students -- > Financial Services --> View E-Bill & E-payment --> Connect to quickpay

4.) Select "Make Payment"

5.) Enter payment amount: $60, payment method: eCheck

6.) Enter your routing number and bank account number as prompted

NOTE: Unfortunately, the "Quickpay" system does not update very often.  However, your Caesar account will show the bill if you click on "view my account" under Caesar.  You may still pay the
$60.00 fee now through quickpay, and your caesar account will show the correct information within a few business days.

There's currently no option to have the fee deducted from your paycheck directly yet.
We are working on it. Please let your friends know.
