GSA Officer Meeting Minutes
1) Brief Officer Updates
a. Advocacy – new intercampus shuttle route does not allow stops at other locations – lobby for more stops on the route --

2) International Graduate Student Resource Fair
a. September 13th, 2:30-5pm
b. McCormick Tribune Center (1870 Campus Drive)

Expected attendance: 250 students
d. Need volunteers! Ruth has tentatively agreed.
3) New Graduate Student Orientation
a. September 17th, 9am-5pm
b. Pick-Staiger Concert Hall / Norris University Center
c. We are manning a table at the Resource Fair (1-3:30pm) – Jenn, Kate, Megan
d. Free lunch in Norris Louis Room @ 12pm if you help out
e. Need: GSA listserv signup, GSA Fall Quarterly Newsletter, candy, GSA banner, GSA gear (if printed by then)
4) TGS/GSA 5K Run/Walk
a. Registration email – Megan will send it out Monday
b. Food quote – Jenn & Kate will work on it
c. T-shirt design & printing – design submitted, proof expected next Friday
d. New waiver from Chris Johnson with updated date/time – Kate (I forgot to ask you, sorry)
e. Donation request form – work with corporate relations

Kinko’s Copying Information
You can make cheap copies at the Norris FedEx with our SOFO account (2004-47). Please email the treasurer and me whenever you make a charge so we can include it in the books. I suggest calling before/after you email them the file you would like to print to review the number of copies, type of paper, and estimated pick-up time.
