A visit to a local Hispanic restaurant, subsidized by the organization
-    Ice skating (February)
A joint activity with BGSA to go skating at the Millennium Park skating rink
    -    Latin Cuisine Festival (Februrary)
A dinner party with various traditional local dishes cooked by the organization members


Spring 2008

A quarterly meeting of the executive council to plan the Spring activities
-    Latino Cultural Night (April)
A dinner arranged in the theme of the selected country from South America, with traditional recipes, decorations, costumes and music
-    Country Showcase(April)
 Several presentations about the culture, history, traditions and touristic information about each representative country.  Food and drinks offered.
-    Salsa Lessons (April / May)
-    Picnic at Chicago Botanical Garden (May)
A bike tour and picnic at the Chicago Botanical Garden

Summer 2008

Members attend a cultural event of choice.

Game-show style event with questions about latin american culture.
-    Soccer + Picnic (twice during the Summer)

Members attend a sport event, subsidized by the organization.
