Charity Quilts:

We will provide the materials and our members will make these quilts, which are designed to fit in wheelchairs. Once the quilts are assembled, they will be donated to an area nursing home.

Project for Beginners:

We recommend this project for beginning quilters. Buy the following fabric and join us at our next meeting!

For a lap quilt (44"x72") 5 blocks x 8 blocks

• 1 1/4 yards each of a light, medium, and dark colored fabric

• 2 yards of backing fabric

• 1/2 yard of fabric for binding

• batting to fit
  *Note: You will need to cut out exactly 20 2" strips of each fabric to make enough blocks for this quilt.

For a double quilt (63"x72") 7 blocks x 8 blocks

• 2 yards each of a light, medium, and dark colored fabric

• 4 yards of backing fabric

• 1/2 yard of fabric for binding

• batting to fit
  *Note: You will need to cut out exactly 30 2" strips of each fabric to make enough blocks for this quilt.
